Skiing in cervinia is mainly blue /red runs on wide pistes. When we went half term week there was very little queuing. Despite little snow in Italy at the time most runs open and snow reasonable, presumably due to the high altitude.
Big negative is the wind which closed the lifts on one day and apparently is not uncommon.
Can get cold at the top when wind is strong.
Enough skiing for one week only although can ski over to Zermatt if weather ok.
