Breuil-Cervinia Things to Do

There are a lot of activities to do in Breuil-Cervinia in the summertime. From the town of Breuil-Cervinia there is access to fabulous hiking. Whether you are somewhat out of shape, or an experienced moutain-man, you should be able to find something suitable to your desires. You can find information about different trails in the tram/gondola station that is located just above the town. Remember to bring plenty of water, sunblock lotion, and rain gear, as the weather up there can change in minutes!

U have to skiing in the winter, the place is perfect, every time snow....for me thetracks are a little be easy but funny and gorgeouse for the eyes!

It's possible to do summer skiing on the Plateau Ros? too!

One of the best thing to do after a day of skiing of tracking in the Alps is to find a good baita, restaurant, where u can eat and taste all the best local product and dishes, with some good local wines or liquer.
-so u have to taste Fonduta alla Valdostana: it's a dishes made with melted cheeese in a special pot, and with a long fork u put a piece of bread in the melted cheese and....enjoy this super taste dishes!
This is a receipt, but u can find in different restaurant, it's better to order it one day before cause they have to prepare it....be sure is a fresh chees dishes and not made with pre-pared can cheeses!

Fonduta alla Valdostana
400g of Fontina cheese, 4 egg yolks, 1 spoon of flour, 1 glass of milk.
Let the Fontina cheese melt in a casserole dish over a low heat and add the flour and mix well. Then add the glass of milk still ensuring the ingredients are mixed in evenly and fully.
When the mixture is soft and runny but not over cooked add the 4 egg yolks. Keep on the heat and cook gently until the mixture takes on a velvety texture. Serve hot with a little fire under to manteind the chees melted..

You can ski over the top of the mountain from Cervinia, Italy to Zermatt, Switzerland.
Be sure you take your passport with you. Also be sure to note the times for the last lifts, otherwise you might be stranded on the "wrong" side of the mountain.

Cervinia is one of my favorite ski resorts because of its high altitude (which generally means greater snow depths when resorts at lower elevations have little or no snow!), huge vertical drop, great scenery

The resort is joined to Zermat, another huge place to ski. You can buy a joint skipass. With 220 Km in Cervinia and 250 Km in Zermat, you'll get 2 month of ski without repeating a lane!

This resort has amazing views of the Alps, including Mont Blanc and Monte Rossa. Wide lanes let you stop and pic. You will have the pic of your life if you are lucky and the sky is clear.
