During summer nights you should just lay down on the grass and look up at the wonderful sky (the Milky way)
On the 10th of August (San Lawrence's Tears) you will be amzed also by a natural display of shooting stars! Remember: for each star falling, a wish...
However everynight you will be able to see a magical starry sky.
I usually go to Lillaz and then walk to Valleille with some torches and covers. Here there are no artificial lights just you, the nature and the starry sky!

"IT was a wonderful night, such a night as is only possible when
we are young, dear reader. The sky was so starry, so bright
that, looking at it, one could not help asking oneself whether
ill-humoured and capricious people could live under such a sky..." (Fyodor Dostoevsky)

There are only a few places where you can drink and spend your night in Cogne.
If you want something to drink I suggest you: Bar La Grivola or Les Pertzes.
While if you want to dance you shuold go to Les Trompeurs or to "Da Arturo"(downstairs the restaurant Lou Ressignon chez Arthur).

In the National Park of Gran Paradiso there is a general code of conduct to respect.in order to maintain intact over time this valuable area.
There are a lot of road signs and the most importamt rules are:

    _Rubbish: Take it with you
_Flowers, insects and minerals: Leave them where they are
_Campfires and tents: Only in the designated areas
_Wild animals: Leave them in peace
_Paths and mule-tracks: Stay on them
    _Dogs: Better not
