Favorite thing: Right behind Bardolino is Cavaion Veronese, land of soft rolling hillscovered with vineyards and olive groves. It is a home of wide world famous Bardolino red or rose wines. Wine can be bought directly from producers, do not hesitate to bring Chiaretto with when leaving Bardolino.

Favorite thing: The main square of the town looks almost like a wide street. It starts at the harbour and ends by the parish church at its north end. It is the most vivid part of the town which irresistible reminds on the mediterranean places. The square is filled by numerous cafe-bars, restaurants and shops.

Favorite thing: The mild climate of the place and the fertile hills in its back caused the territory of Bardolino to be claimed by emperors, noble families and monks who built castles, palaces and monasteries here.
Throughout the centuries an overstanding historical heritage has formed revealed today by the towers and the remains of the Scaliger castle, Venetian style villas and beautiful churches.
