There are more things in his shop, metal toys, moving toys like carousels, etc.

in the Piazza: cloths and food
i can't just reccommend just one shop here in the Piazza. evenings were spent eating on the browse sampleing whatever caught my fancy and ended with some fine local red and expresso washed down with local grappa. the clothes are typical italian style and although a bit expensive i feel like a million dollars when i dress italian The girls dress to kill and flirting is in fashion something the aussie girls can take note of when they are woofing into their next big mac. the saturday markets are filled with fresh produce and typical bargans that are found in these places. Sunday a trash and treasure type market takes place and some great antiques and memorbilia are to found here i had to pass up the stradivarious being sold for 1500 euro bummer.
What to buy: Clothes some of the best tailors and shops are here. As Bassano is a town of traditional culture you will find art stores with local paintings that are of exceptional standards. specialty shops like the honey shop( i'm a honey freak) over a hundred different types of local honey with different tastes i've never found back home. a lot of jewlery is made in this town find something that is uniquie.
What to pay: original quality clothes are expensive but i belive to be worth it. fresh produce is cheap and tasty. for those on a smaller budjet there are factory outlet type stores near by were i picked up a italian 15oz denim jacket for 20 euro for instance.
