So what other options are there apart from the expensive Harry's Dolci. Well there are a couple of pleasant Osterias along the long waterfront of Giudecca with equally good views. We chose to sit at his one (pic 1) to enjoy the views (pic3) after our walk round and to have a coffee and snack (pic 2). I tried to decipher the name of the Osteria from the sign - I think its "Ai Lecetti" - but still not sure - see what you think.
Favorite Dish: just some cheese toasties and what turned out to be battered fish! I though it was a fried chese in batter (we just went in and pointed to what took our fancy) but just as tasty.
Note not open for evening meals - just lunches and snacks.

I was tempted to have a cake and a coffee here just for the novelty, not as pricey as Harry's bar but the still extorionate prices put me off - afternnon tea in St Marks square is a better option for a treat in my opinion....but for those that want to there are waterside tables with lovely views for that special something - and prices to match!
