Similar to all other beaches worldwide, you and your family needs to take precaution while at the public beach of Lido. There are lifeguards around, but you need to take note that the waves of the Adriatic Sea can be very strong and the water off Lido beach is not very clean and clear. Also, the sand on the beach has lots of shells, so take note if you are walking barefoot.
