Favorite thing: My favourite thing about Malcesine is taking lunch on the lake shore, on one of the restaurant terraces on the piers on the lake shore. Find the small marina and then check out the restaurants, check the prices - but it is not such a problem with prices than in other places, I found there are very good prices in Malcesine.

Favorite thing: Malcesine is situated in the northern part of Lago di Garda, which still belongs to the Veneto Region. The whole place is dominated by the Castello Caligero, which is situated on the top of the cliff right above the lakeshore.
This picture, which shows the rooftops of Malcesine, was taken from the Castle from where you have a magnificent view of Lago di Garda.

Favorite thing: Just around the castle, at the base, there is a spot where are a lot of cats, I've counted six I guess. Check out the family in the second picture of the tip. Lovely aren't they? :)

Favorite thing: Here are some of the nice views to the lake from the castle of Malcesine. On a nice day you should spend at least one hour around the castle.
