Well, fellow travelers, I came a long way to visit Italy, and somehow, The Disney Store does not fit in the picture that I imagined. Maybe if they put in an espresso bar....
Now I've said it, Mickey's upset, Daisy will stop calling, but, this isn't Disney World in Florida. This is Italy, after all.
I hope Goofy understands. We have this Zen thing going.
Unique Suggestions: Buy something...join in the fun.
Fun Alternatives: Close your eyes, and hurry past. Be careful of the cobblestones.

Outside the basilica of Sant'Antonio you'll see dozens of street sellers trying to sell you everything possible related to Saint Anthony: postcards, candles, books and those really cute plastic containers that send snowflakes flying when you shake them
Unique Suggestions: Don't by any: religion has nothing to do with it. As as a souvenir they are really tacky: I don't think anyone will appreciate them.
Fun Alternatives: make a donation: i'm sure someone in the world will need your money more than these street sellers

Of course they'll try and sell you everything vaguely related to St Anthony, and all sorts of memorabilia with the famous saint on it. You can choose among lighters, candles, T-shirts, purses, pencils and such. I have not, however, seen one non-kitchy thing among them, so photos were my only souvenir.
