This town in the province of Padova is very famous for thermal cures, in fact is full of thermal stations, a lot of hotels,pubs,swimming pools,etc.We have here a lot of Germans,Americans and Austrians tourist.In this town there are also Roman Ruins.About sport, races of horses and athletics, a nice stadium in which I did many race years ago,golf and minigolf and tennis, a lot of tennis around! I like TennisGarden a nice place to play tennis between the green of the nature!There are good place for trekking, Abano is next to the hills and a big discotheque divided in 3 parts, local music,music of 70s and 80s and modern music!
Here we are at MOnte Grappa, it is an historical mountain. Important during the wars. Here lies thiusands and thousands of bodies of soldiers. The top of the mountain is covered by a big cemetery to remember them from any country engage in the first and second world war. A special memory to "I ragazzi del '99" "The boys of '99", young boys of 17yearsold who fighted eroically in first world-war.
Here there is a museum, a big library with scientific books,expecially about astronomy.In this tower Galileo Galilei discovered the moons of Jupiter in the 15th century. Under the tower next to the river there is the department of astronomy where I study.
Yes, we've got wonderful beaches too. Here we are at Rosolina Mare, province of Rovigo, a nice place, sometimes me and my friend we go there during summertime. Good places are also Jesolo,Bibione,Caorle and a few Sottomarina.Few times the water of the sea is dirty, this is the bad thing. But the rest it's ok.
I like to go to Venice in February, when there is the Carnival. They come here people from alll other the world, I like to dance in Piazza San Marco, last time we dance with RUssians,Americans,Japanese and Czech, they play music all the day between theatre and others rappresentations. In any square there is a feast and you can see masks anywhere. Ponte di Rialto is quite always full of people in feast, incredible days even if it's cold 'cause it's winter.
Here we have the park of "Colli Euganei".There is at Arqu? Petrarca the house of the famous poet Petrarca. A lot of restaurants,agritourism. A disco on the top of a hill.Monastero di Praglia where monks pray and it is a big church of medioeval time, with a librayry with books of 15th century!
