The Bridge of Sighs

Favorite thing: Condemned prisoners crossed this bridge to and from the Palazzo Ducal, because they never knew if they would see Venice again.

Me..the bridge and the gondola!!

Favorite thing: Something that you will not miss in Venice is the bridges... there are everywhere and you have to cross thousands of them to go around Venice.

Favorite thing: The Rialto is one of the most famous bridges in the world. The view from the Rialto of the Grand Canal is excellent. Go to both sides of the bridge when you are at the apex.

The Brigh of Sighs

Favorite thing: Across which prisoners would be led from the Ducal Palace (right) to the prison (left)... or in the other direction, if they were to be executed in the piazza.-

Favorite thing: This bridge separates the prison and the palace.

Fondest memory: You must visit the palace first before you walk along the bridge!!
