Campi, Calle and Canale, Venice
Favorite thing: This is one of the 'palaces' on the Grand Canal... I wish I had kept the map of buildings along here so I could remember what they were named.
Favorite thing: I fell in love with Venice and all the canals...I was amazed at how different this place was to everywhere else I had ever been...what a wonderful experience...
Another red and white one! They are not afraid of a touch of colour in Venice. Doesn't it look pretty!
Fondest memory: Being in the industry, I always wondered what the small package delivery business would be like. This is a UPS delivery person. The ciggarette and dog were too perfect.
Favorite thing: Take the 'bus' (actually it's boat-bus)along the cannel, enjoying the long fasade-pictures on both sides.
Favorite thing: My favorite thing was just wandering the streets! It was facinating seeing how things were built, the architecture, the people, with the canals weaving there way through the entire city!
Favorite thing: Details of the façade of a gothic palace with nicely arched windows, somewhere in the midst of Venice.
Fondest memory: Enjoying every last moment in Venice, we savor the afternoon walk from the Piazza San Marco to the S. Elena Vaporetto station en route to our hotel in Lido.
Fondest memory: I like to go aroud in the quiet street, to share the sunshine and beautiful color and fresh air... ...
A strange view of Venice with snow.
The place in the picture is CAMPO DEI MORI, near Madonna dell'orto church.
