Looks great from the outside - tucked away in a backstreet with intimate tables and lighting. Big menu with some inexpensive looking dishes. House wine is reasonable inprice and taste. BUT - the service is awful. Somehow they manage to make really simple Italian dishes taste bland to awful. Pizza base is OK but the toppings are so scarce. You could do much better in your own kitchen with a jar ready-made Italian sauce and pasta. If this restaurant was dirt cheap you might forgive. But as with many restaurants in Venice by the time you add on the charge for service, coffee, drinks etc you may find yourself even more dissatisfied with the food.
After circling around the Venetian Labyrinth we finally found a place to have a nice Cappuccino and Pastries.
