This place was recommended in a BBC travel show as being good value and a bit of real Venice. It was easy to find and we ate from a range of foods displayed at the bar. A bit like TAPAS. We then ordered a wine that was excellent in taste and quality but at a ridiculously cheap price. The food was good and we had a lovely time there sat looking at the canal traffic. Not sure if it is real Venice but we like Vino Vino and will go back there again
Favorite Dish: Lamb stew - I think
They have a web site to look at menu and directions to find it
This place is really a wine bar with two rooms but has some really cheap food options so is included in my Restaurant tips. You can choose from more than 250 Italian and imported wines in this place and it's usually full up with people from all walks of life. You can buy wine by the bottle or by the glass, including Italian grappas. This is a good way to try several wines - if you can manage it!!
One of the best bits is the cheap Venetian dishes that are served here with plenty of choice on your authentic local cuisine. The two rooms are always busy and there's take-out service if you either can't find a place to sit or want to take your food beside a moon-lit canal.
It's open Wednesday to Monday 10:30am to midnight.
Favorite Dish: The best dishes include pastas, beans, codfish and polenta. All at very good prices;

Main dishes with meat € 9,00
Main dishes with fish € 10,50
Dessert € 3,50
