This is the great place, where we had our VT-meeting on saturday evening : We had a room for our group in the back of the bar and at first I had the feeling it is quite small for all of us, but towards the end it even had enough time for the dancing-sessions that you may see in my travelogues...
Favorite Dish: They prepared a lot of small snacks - my favorite was a small glass, filled with bits of tomato and small pieces of bread in olive-oil and fine herbs.
The big bowls with plenty of straws was great to look at and a lot of fun watching the others while they drank it, but I would not call it a specially tasty drink.
Anyway, lots of people seemed to like it !

This wine-cellar and inn is situated right next to the cathedral. It offers excellent choice of wines from Veneto region and the rest of Italy. Besides, while testing the wibes, you can enjoy in the specialities of Verona cuisine.
Favorite Dish: Do not miss to try "spaghetti al olio con peperoncino" or "bolito misto".

Overpriced coffee in my opinion. It’s got the “olde shoppe” thing going on, but it didn’t really work for me. Brioches didn’t look that great either. There’s much better breakfast fare a few doors along.
Favorite Dish: the wrapped little amaretto biscuits (take 'em away with you for train journeys!)

Caffé Dante is the oldest café in Verona. You find it in a Renaissance palazzo on the North side of Piazza dei Signori. It is pure pleasure to sit down and enjoy a coffee at this peaceful place after an exhausting stroll through the old town.

Bottega Dei Vini (OK, it's a bar, not a restaurant)
Huge selction of wines from all over Italy (over 1000 to choose from - in all price ranges). Look at the blackboards for 'todays selections' they'll be largely reasonably priced. Some of the wines on the main list require a second mortgage.
Favorite Dish: Wine.
