Pay a visit to the Tomb of Juliet Capulet, an empty tomb located in an underground room at the Church of San Francesco al Corsoi. The best time to go is definitely early in the morning before the throngs of tourists invade this city.

You know, Verona will always be known as the setting of William Shakespeare's tragedy of these two star-crossed lovers. And it is because of this precise reason that the city continues to celebrate the famous English playwright greatest works during the summer - Shakespeare festival at the Teatro Romano.

This pretty ruined building is identified with the house of the Montecchi, or Montagues, Romeo’s family.

Nice balcony, isn't it ? That deserves to be Juliette's balcony and it might be but it is not. Anyway, who cares as anyway, Juliette's balcony is very unlikely to be Juliette's balcony, according to specialists in Juliettology.

This building, originally dating back to the 12th century, was radically restored [1936-1940], during which the windows, gothic-style doorway and famous balcony were all added to the interior façade.
Inside the house are furnishings from the 16th-17th centuries, frescoes, and paintings - all relating to the story of Romeo and Juliet - as well as Renaissance ceramics from Verona. A bronze statue of Juliet by sculptor Nereo Costantini stands in the courtyard.

    Admission: EUR4

In small yard you can see bronze statue of Juliet. Tradition say that if you wan't to have love in your life you should grab her right brest and her arm. So I did it.

This house is not far from Juliet’s just a couple of minutes walk. Unfortunately Romeo’s house has not been restored and the building is not very well preserved it can’t be visited.

Visit the picturesque former Capuchin monastery, the place where the great love of Romeo and Juliet ended, and Juliet's Tomb there. You can even write a letter and leave it in the sarcophagus that lies in a dimly lit crypt.

You can also visit Frescoes Museum 'G.B.Cavalcaselle' and admire the wall paintings detached from old Veronese buildings, and the Church of San Francesco al Corso with interesting works of art from the 16th to the 18th century (both on the same ground).

The main picture's showing the most important scenes from Shakespeare's tragedy 'Romeo and Juliet'.

This house is called 'Casa Montecchi' and the popular tradition says it?s the house of Juliet?s lover: Romeo.
This house is not far from Juliet?s one (just a couple of minutes walk).
Unfortunately Romeo?s house has not been restored and the building is not very well preserved (it can?t be visited).
