The front side of the church and in particularly its portal is worth of note.
The lower part of the facade comprises eight walled arches dating back to the 1300's, whilst the upper part is crowned by small blind arches and a rose window.
The large central door has a sculpture of the Madonna and Child above it.

The Church of San Lorenzo, originally built in 1288, was closed following the Napoleonic invasion and was reopened for worship in 1839 after initial restoration.
It has three long naves, finishing with the apse and two lines of huge stone columns. In the right hand part of the transept is the beautiful Pojana altar with its well-preserved triptych dating back to 1400.
In the right hand wall are the remains of the poet Zanella, whos statue stands right in front of the church.
