Palazzo Raccola de Fontanellis, also known as Palace Tojer, was built in 1469 by local noble family Raccola de Fontanellis. The Pacace is situated in the heart of Serravalle, in the main street called Via Martiri della Liberta. It is one of the most significant example of late Gothic Venetian palace in whole region of Veneto.
Palazzo Comunale di Serravalle, known also as Loggia di Serravalle, was built in 1462 and was the Town Hall of Vittorio Veneto. It houses today famous Museum Cenedese. This beautiful palace was decorated by beautiful stone from Istria in Croatia.
I didn't catch the name of this unique palace which stands on Piazza Flaminio, next to the Palazzo Comunale.
Most of the palaces in the old core of the town dates back to the 15th and 16th centuries, built in Renaissance or Gothic styles..
The town of Vittorio Veneto has a special place in the memory of the Italian people. By a twist of fate, it was the site of the great victory of the Italians over the Austrians in October of 1918.
On the pictures you can see the fragments of the old core of Serravalle which along with Ceneda makes the town of Vittorio Veneto.
