The UK National Health Service does not extend to Jersey but there is a reciprocal Health Convention between the UK Dept of Health and the States of Jersey for immediate necessary medical services for visitors. Visitors from overseas can obtain medical assistance at the Morning Medical Clinic in Newgate Street, St. Helier. To make an appointment, telephone 01534 616833 between 8:30am and 4:30pm and you will be connected to a GP Surgery who will give you an appointment and the location of the Surgery for that day. This is an all day surgery-based service on weekdays. Services are free to UK residents and to residents of countries with a reciprocal agreement - Alderney, Australia, Austria, Barbados, France, Guernsey, Iceland, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the Isle of Man.
