Here's me in the tropical gardens behind the promenade. This was in my "Pie Eating" days and thankfully I'm a lot fitter now!

Here's Susan by St Aubins harbour, just after a meal at the "Harbour View". Contentment personified!

St Aubins fort sits in the harbour and you can walk out to it at low tide. Watch out for soft sand, though.

Plemont is one of the most gorgeous bays in Jersey. It's fairly small and at the bottom of a narrow twisty road. Just look at that sand - and see how crowded it is?

The Havre De Fer has a small breakwater with an old Martello Tower (Napoleonic fortification) at the end of it.Such towers are everywhere on Jersey, a (picturesque) legacy of its troubled past.
