Davida mills' spring waterfalls

This is one of the colorful and interesting waterfalls, which located not far from highway. There are not one waterfall, but many springs, which during summer are very small. But it's worth to visit it, because spring is ferruginous and it makes everything here in orange-red colour. If you continue your walk a little bit far, near the mill ruins, you'll see wider and higher waterfall in the river, which falls from one metre highness. You can only guess which one of them is more beautiful.You must go via road A 2, after Cesis you must look for small road on the left side.

Kazugrava waterfalls

It's the best waterfall, what I have seen here in Latvia, very imposing and beautiful. It falls as from many steps and together it is almost 7 meters high. Near the waterfall you can see also the caves, where previously was living biggest bat colony, but for good approachability they have disappeared. The name of waterfalls translating in English means 'goat glen'. I really don't know how to say in other words, but getting to the waterfalls is pretty interesting, I can only hope if you go there, you find it. You must go from Riga to Cesis via road A 2, before Cesis you must turn to road P 20 to Valmiera. At Jaunkalni you must turn to the right, cross the rails and here on the right side there is waterfalls.
