I was in Latvia once - Riga and I was so hungover from the previous evenings excesses that I didn't get out of the boat. Watching it dissapear into the distance from a porthole in the crews quarters.
go to Riga's old town. It is a beautiful neighborhood of old buildings, neat cafes, and shops. I miss the friends I made there most of all, as well as Laima chocolate and Aldaris Zelta beer.
