I am not sure if advance tickets are already available, but here comes the best side of going to LIVU with excursion. You don't need to stand in a huge row and can entry imediately. Maybe the rows are smaller during working days, but on the weekends they are really huge.
This tip could also be in Transportation section, but I think that you must be prepared. Entering Jurmala by car, you are obliged to pay toll. There is no any boundary you must pay at to pass, you just get a parking ticket that must be left on the visible place inside your car all the time when you are inside Jurmala. Without it, your car can be evacuated. Toll is 1 lat for 24h (a bit more than one British pound).
