These beautiful Venta river's falls are the widest in Baltic and probably also in Europe, they are 249 meters wide and almost two meters high. The best view to falls is from old bridge, but for taking beautiful photos you can climb down to the waterfall on their both sides. Although during summer you can see many people crossing the waterfall, I wouldn't recommend that activity, because stones in the river maybe very slippery.
The bridge, which is built in the end of 19th century from bricks and boulders is the longest this type bridge in Europe. It is more than 160 meters long. From here you can have the best look to waterfall, but the best view to the bridge is if you climb down to the waterfall. The bridge can be crossed only by foot.
