The local soccer team, part of a giant metalworking company, and current (2005) Latvian champions play in the Daugava stadium in seaside park, lovely setting for a football stadium. Just missed a game by a couple of days but the gates were open so we were able to walk around, it's a neat and tidy place, would have enjoyed watching.
