Who would have thought that there was decent Tex-Mex food to be found in this Latvian sea city? Klondaika was a surprise. They actually had a pretty versatile menu, but since they seemed to really psuh their Mexican food, I gave it a try. And although it wasn't like back home, I really enjoyed it. Sure was wierd eating Mexican food while watching a live soccer match broadcasted in Russian. Chicken Fajitas and Flautas
This is a great place, they have a good menu and of course good beer and the atmosphere is very nice, all the young and beautiful people of Liepaja go here. They have life music occasionally and there is a disco downstairs.
Pie krustmates Agates (At aunt Agatha) is really a nice, little, self service restaurant.It's in the main (and short) pedestrian street, just in front of the Rock Café, but I think it's much nicer than it!Here is a quiet atmosphere and good food at really low prices. Latvia 1st Rock Café is open daily from 9:00-07:00, but in summer time it is open 24 hours a day. When you have tried the special musical menu and drinks, you can have a look at Latvia and foreign musicians’ relics and pictures, play billiards or simply listen to music. :-)For me it's the best place in Liepaja where to go out with friends. Always, when i'm in Liepaja, i'm wisiting Rock Café :-)
Cafe "Pie Krustmates Agates" is near the Latvia 1st Rock Café .If you need some not very loudy place - this is really good choice :-)
