When it comes to eating out you're not exactly spoilt for choice in Rezekne. There's a rather mediocre Italian place called 'Little Italy". Their chicken filet with gorgonzala sauce (2,40 ls) was pretty good, the 'patatas bravas', however, tasted more like chips in tomato sauce.
But we also found a lovely art cafe, called Mols, with excellent inexpensive cocktails (1,45ls for a Pina Colada), tasty cherry beer (0,45ls) and good bistro food. Mols is without a doubt the nicest and best place to eat and drink in Rezekne.
If all you want is dirt cheap beer head for the beergarden down by the river.

Latvian people like to eat tasty and its mean that you'll find tasty meals in cafes and restaurants with local cuisine. Cafe "Mols" is one great example. It is a great place to have a breakfast.
Also here you can buy paintings of local painters, local ceramics and knitted things.
Favorite Dish: Coffee is great! Probably the best omelete in Rezekne.
