There are some famous places of night bars in Riga.
The most I like is VERNISAGE. You can listen here night concert of famous singer or group,take a seat in very intime like cabines or simply dancing. If You like some kind of jazz or like listen to piano- there is the restorant in the same building.

Oh....Nightlife in Riga. The best part of all. After taking a good shower and having the dinner, you should go to 'Dickens' first, it's and English pub ('Anglu krogs' as Latvians say) If you get in alone don't think that you are going to leave the place alone :). Anyway after that you can go to 'Pulkvadis' (or 'pulkvedim')If you like alternative music this place is just for you on friday nights. If you like to listen some jazz there is a place so close to the 'Dickens pub' but I forget the name of the place, so you better ask or refer to your ' riga in my pocket' or 'Riga this week' ( R.T.W is recommended it's for free and you can find the very neccecary things in it). Maybe you like to see some Latvians dancing with Latvian pop music, than you better go to 'cita opera' which is close to the 'Latvian University'
Dickens...Dickens...Dickens... Good music, good service, polite and funny barmen... and more for you to find
