Good friendly young staff.They say you should never bypass a bar with your name contained in the title without stopping for a drink, that's how I happened upon this placeOpening hours:12:00-01:00 except:Fri: 12:00-04:00Sat: 12:00-04:00 No dress code that i am aware of.
Nice bar on the top floor of hotel Latvia. You can go up with the elevator from glass and see panorama of Riga. Then you can sit in the bar by the big window and look at Riga from the 26th floor. I recommend this place. Something nice.
The LNO Opera Company is a permanent group of artists whose fame and reputation is growing throughout the world due to the bright voices of the soloists and smooth timbre of the chorus. For example, singers such as Inese Galante, Egils Silins, Sonora Vaice, Inga Kalna, Ingus Petersons who all perform abroad, began their careers at the LNO.
My mates and I have the habit of taking a tram/bus/train to suburban areas when visiting some cities. That's my way of "extreme" travelling. No tourists, cheap prices, and you NEVER know what to get. This time we found a few friendly bars, however, no one spoke any English, but it was still a great experience. Do NOT look too much like a tourist. Some neighbourhoods are not that safe...
Mostmodern popcultue style. Commercials are intergrated in the interior design. Bright, trendy, expensive bar. It is a toy of the owner of Gross Auto (car spare parts' shop, where actually Martini's is located).Not many locals know this place, but it is worth outside city center drive. If you are driving, they have special (not too strong) coctails.

New club in Riga Old Town. Get a drink or snack and try to get a place IN the window. Literally. A couple of tables are placed in the window facing one of the busiest streets in the Old Town. Combine people watching exercise with good live music performances in the evenings. It's difficult to get a spot there after 8 almost any day. Chill out dance floor is downstairs. In general, atmosphere is great as well as the music. The food and drinks could have been better.P.S. In Latvia you have Feathers in the Air when you are having a good time ;)
Small great place for those who like downtempo, electronica music. Two floors with more dance music on the first and chill out on the second. Fancy design, nice people."Pupi" in Latvian means breasts, and you will deginitely see them everywhere: on the wall paper and live - sexy waitresses show off their cleavage :) Opening the menu turns out to be a good practise in how to open a bra!Don't leave without trying the special house coctan Better than Sex or Screaming Orgazm... Face control at the entrance, thus no sneakers. Jeans are acceptable.
