Swap-lake or something around :)

HHahahaha...one of the biggest impressions from this travel! :) We were walking the touristic path near Small, Gutmanis caves, and later just decided to turn a bit to not-tourism path (path just near Gauja river). So, by this way we wanted to reach Tuiraida castle. It was very funny, when village-style road became mostly as a swap, we watched not wet part of ground at every foot.

So, what happened later? We simply somehow overcame castle and left it about 1 kilometre back of us. So, another decision was not to come back the same path, but try to reach castle walking in forested area, that was quite wet too ;) The area was mainly forest, later we found small village, but ... empty... no people, just dogs barking around. Finally somehow we found main road and had chance to ask people where to go.

And....bah...reached the destination :)

Unique Suggestions: So, if you are extreme, you can try non-touristic path (you need bad clothes for it and some water to drink after good sport climbing up the forested area). By the way, I liked such extreme thing ;)

Fun Alternatives: Alternative - walk tourist path, if you don't recognise it - ask people around (if there are:)

This is real tourist trap: parking for fee, some souvenir sellers on the way, cheap ticket to castle and climbing up to the tower to see around.
