You can get to Tukums from Riga also by suburban train: http://www.1188.lv/satiksme?sub=vilcieni&PHPSESSID=4ce0592620033989a732d0620bcc79c6&lang=en. It is a little bit cheaper then bus, but take the same time to reach Tukums. These trains are going through Jurmala, so you can combine your visit to these two towns from Riga. There are two train stations in Tukums: Tukums-1 and Tukums-2. You should go off the the train at first of them (from Riga): Tukums-1, because this station is the one in centre. The other one is few km outside the town centre (on the opposite side to Slokenbeka).
