If you were ever a stamp collector, you'd recognize Liechtenstein since they put out so many stamps and it's a not so well known foreign country to boot, 25% or so of the government's income is from selling new series of stamps for collectors. You can, I imagine, buy them at the post office or if you are looking for something older, many of the souvenir shops had older stamps sealed in plastic, the prices increasing with the age of the stamps.
In Vaduz you will find quite a lot of tourist shops, most of them located at Städtle, the pedestrian area of the city. But unfortunately most of the souvenirs you can get here are not about Liechtenstein at all, but about it beloved neighbour Switzerland.90% of all the souvenirs are about typically Swiss things: creamy chocolates, cow bells, tacky clocks and watches and all other kinds of things with the red flag and the white cross on it. The rest of the products do have a Liechtensteiner flag on it, or the Princely symbol, but except for the stamps there is not really something that is typically Liechtenstein. What I did like was this huge Liechtensteiner cow outside one of the shops, but I don't think this one was for sale...
Of course it is a very nice souvenir to have an official "Liechtenstein" stamp in your passport, but because there is no customs control between Switzerland and Liechtenstein, you have to go to the Tourist Office in Vaduz to ask for it.You can find this Tourist Office in the main shopping street in the capital, Städtle. Directly opposite the Kunstmuseum you'll find the small office. On weekdays and Saturdays you can just walk in and ask for a stamp.Because this stamp is purely used as a "Souvenir Stamp", you have to pay to get it in your passport. A stamp costs 2,- CF or € 1,50,-.
Liechtenstein is famous for their post stamps. Collectors from all over the world would die for a stamp from this little nation. Because the prints are very low in number, the value of the stamps rises quickly, and that makes them wanted. Another reason is that most of the stamps from Liechtenstein simply are very beautiful.If you are not a real expert on post stamps, you can just look for some nice ones in every tourist shop you will see in the shopping street of Vaduz: Städtle. There you will see a lot of pre-compiled sets of stamps, for reasonable prices (I think...).But if you are a real expert you'd better go to the Post Office (also very close to Städtle) to look for some interesting ones there. The quality and the choise are better there...

Like other small countries like San Marino and Andorra, their stamps have a rarity value and as such are a source of revenue.In Liechenstein's case the other 'sideline' of incorportaing countries (never dodgy ones of course) is far more lucrative.To return to the stamps, you can buy modern ones, like those shown in the picture which have won awards and stuff or older stuff.Due to the fact that the postal service put a great deal of effort in over the years to create interesting designs, their stamps often have high value in the stamp-collecting world.
Any tourist shops...'Twas fun buying up loads and loads of postcards and their awesome stamps! I bought my stamps and postcards from 2 souvenir shops along the Main Street. Stamps, Postcards, Magnets... the works!
An avaradge Supermarket. Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate one of the cheapest possibility to buy swiss chocolate, because of low taxes. They also offer several kind of chocolate(just like in switzerland). And also soft/alcoholic drinks, its just a few nontouristical shop in the city! depends!
