Rent a car in Zurich, Switzerland. The trip is only about an hour and the views along the way are great. Also, I have been told that there is a rail line - the World Almanac says Liechtenstein has 12 miles of track - that runs through the north of the country. I have been told that there is a train station in Schaan, a town just north of Vaduz, that you can use. Frankly, I do not remember crossing railway tracks when I went north, and I do not remember seeing a train station in Schaan, nor seeing a sign for one - no surprise there. However, this may be an option for getting into Liechtenstein. As with getting to Liechtenstein, cars are the best bet for getting around. Although there is a bus service, it is not sufficiently flexible to get you to the different sites.
