 | Klaipeda Packing Lists | Tips 1 - 7 of 7 | | Popular Packing Lists | Other Packing Lists Tips | All Tips (7) On my travels to East and Central Europe I always try to get myself the latest edition of the "In Your Pocket" guide. These guides are very up to date, provide useful maps and offer all sorts of practical information for independent travels. Most of the tips can also be found on their webpage. Lithuania is the cradle of "In Your Pocket" as the the first guide was published in Vilnius in 1991. The Klaipeda guide is updated once per year and also includes information about Nida and Palanga. The guides are available locally from kiosks or the Tourist Information Office. Leave a Comment

The Baltic States are rapidly developing countries, therefore an up to date guidebook is very helpful. I used the Lonely Planet Guide "Estonia, Latvia & Lithuania which offers information for all budgets on what to see and do, and tips on dining and accomodation. Leave a Comment

AN UMBRELLA....Klaipeda is a sea port and it has a maritime climate. So, in autumn, spring and even winter be sure to take your umbrella with you!!!! usually in winter there is snow but it's wet, so fur coats can be replaced with warm waterproof coats and jackets. The same goes with shoes.
In the summertime take your swimming suit and other beach stuff...we've got beaches where you can enjoy your time sunbathing and relaxing.
It's a normal city like millions on our earth. So, all you need - you can find and buy in the stores :) Leave a Comment
