This movement inside Lithuania propagates a certain lifestyle, which seems to be quite strange to most. Probably the most well known feature of the movement to ones who aren't related with it is the swimming at Baltic Sea in winter. Since the coast of the sea is iced, usually the group of Sveikuoliai firstly makes a hole in the ice. When they gets out of the sea, it is not permitted for them to use towels, they "dies" themselves by rubbing with bare hands. The swimming of Sveikuoliai happens in Palanga every year.
Fishing, although less so an industry these days, is still popular in coastal towns of Klaipedos Apskritis. You might be able to taste fish there, and also special holiday, fisherman's day, in Juodkrante (look at "off the beaten path" to find more about town) each summer.
