This building especially could be interesting for those people, who want to know history of rail road. This station was constructed in second half of XIX century (probably in 1862, when rail road construction Warsaw - St. Petersburg started). As I have heard, it is one of first train stations in Lithuania territory, that still have old brick architecture (such style train stations were very popular in Tsarist Russia).
Inside building it could be seen some paintings about history of rail road and trains.

The real name of church is Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This church have celebrated its 100 years jubilee in 2006. The construction of church was funded by Tiskevicius, the same who have built palace in Lentvaris. I have never seen so strange style church still in Lithuania and travels to foreign countries and I was kinda surprised about it. Church was built in neo romanic style, looking somewhat more Spanish, Moorish. Interior in some ways looked like in Jewish synagogues.
Inside church woman were selling postcards of Lentvaris church. It is quite strange as well, as I never believed that such small, still non-tourist city could have postcards to purchase.

French Eduardo Andre was very famous park designer. He was invited to Lithuanian land in second half of XIX century to design some rich landowners parks. In that time Tiskevicius minor park was designed. It is said that Eduard Andre designed parks in Lithuania was the best works of his carrier (Traku Voke, Uzutrakis, Palanga and more parks).
Lentvaris park surrounded by Lentvaris lake from south and by three ponds from the East side. I liked water to watch some rare trees in this park, system of small water streams with artificially made stone bridges, tunnels, water falls.

Palace of Tiskevicius is a part of Tiskevicius minor, that was built in the second half of XIX century. The palace itself is English neo-Gothic style, that is quite rare style to find in Lithuania. Tiskevicius palace stands on the bank of Lentvaris lake and nicely could be seen from other banks of lake. It is pity, that minor and park around is kinda neglect. It should be much more beautiful in near future. In soviet times in palace the administration of Kedainiai carpets factory was working, now it is empty and waits for private investments. In some other buildings of minor people live.
