Train station is not so far from Lentvaris church, so after visiting church it is basically more convenient to use train to go back to Vilnius. One way ticket Lentvaris-Vilnius costs 2,40 Lt (0,70 Euro).
For me train journey was more interesting, as you can see more landscapes around.

In my opinion it looks the best way to go to Lentvaris, if you want to get to see palace and park immediately. The place, where bus stops isn't far away from palace (maybe 0,5 km).
One way ticket cost 3,30 Lt (almost 1 euro). The bus I took were going through Grigiskes. After Lentvaris it was going to Trakai and later back.
