Kavine Pastoge is a relatively big restaurant which seems to be popular with tourists. The restaurant's rustic wooden interior creates a cosy atmosphere.
In summer their nice oudoor terrace is surrounded by flower decorations. Their menu offers a big variety of both local and international meat and fish meals. Prices are slightly above average but still reasonable.
When we had dinner here we got in contact with a German couple who were touring the Baltics by car. Also we met a Swiss family who were exploring Lithuania and came by ferry from Kiel in Germany.

Kavine Laume is a lovely summer restaurant which offers nice views of the Curonian Lagoon. They have about 10 tables inside and a large outdoor terrace.
We once went there for a late breakfast and I opted for a Caotina cocao and thin pancakes filled with fruits.

The Agila Cultural Centre is also home to a small local bar and restaurant. They have just a few tables inside and outside.
The interior is kept simple but the food is excellent. They mainly serve local Lithuanian treats, but seem to be also famous for their spaghetti.

Restaurant "Kuršis" is in the center of Nida, near square of local government. Food is very delicious and really cheap.
Roasts start ~15 Litas (~4,5 Euro), Beer ~4-5 Litas (~1,5 Euro).
Restaurant don`t look very luxurious, but you feel very good, like at home.
Menus in lithuanian, english, german, russian.
Favorite Dish: The best dish is a beef roast and in the evening everyone should try yummy tea.

This place is located somewhere in the pine-trees forest ,near the road leading from the Nida centre to the beaches of the Baltic sea.
Its not only place where you can eat. There are many swings which are decorate like old Lithuanian wooden sculptures..it looks interesting & it is very convenient way to get rid of your children for some moment ;)
Favorite Dish: BUT,as I have recommanded this place few years ago as one of the best place in Nida to eat i have to warn you about it now ,too!
The kitchen , whole food quality has unfotunately changed.Thought prices are the same, itsjust really not worth paying it.
So, as long as you just want some beer ,while your kids playing with swings its ok.Its really not worth waisting yout money on food there!

Location - 5-7 meters from the bus station, the same side of the street.Dark brown house with the straws covered roof. All friendly stuff working there are wearing national lithuanian clothers(which are very nice ,if i may add).
Food- national lithuanian mainly, but there are also such things as vienna shnizel or many different fishes..
Favorite Dish: I was there 2-3 times. Everytime was satisfied with every meal.Would recommand to try herring there.

This info is quite fresh as i was in Nida just a few days ago.So the very best place i found was this restourant in the very centre of this small lovely place called Nida. This restourant is located just across the bus station between two shops.. to be very precize , just two meters from it there is a magazine kiosk. You will get there not only the very best lithuanian specialities ,but basicaly any kind of great food...from tuna steak till calmars with mushroom source...
whatever youll ask there it will be the very best quality, i trust. We were eating there 4-5 times everytime could not believe how fantastic it was!
Favorite Dish: There is one thing i have to warn you about. Service is not as good as the kitchen.Though the waitresses are very nice the problem is there are only two or three of them... hope there will be more stuff working soon, but as i was there the situation was like this. So, dont get nervous or upset very soon....just pacience, enjoy the beer and wait your meal... it will be great! :)

There are several restaurants near the harbour and along the Haff. The best thing is that they all have a garden to sit outside. Menus are usually also in German and English.
