This small restaurant is very popular among locals as the atmosphere there is very informal and friendly. The food is traditional Ukrainian and tastes "homemade".Warning for those who do not like the garlic-they use it in almost all the dishes :).Also be prepared that the portions are very big,so some of dishes are available in "small" portion, which is enough.
Favorite Dish: The restaurant is known for they famous bortsch(beetroot soup) and also dumplings with different fillings. There is a wide variety of the spicy steaks as well.

It's my favourite bar in Palanga. Great and tasteful dishes, cosy atmosphere, nice music... It's always nice to sit there in the evenings as well as in the daytime.
Favorite Dish: When we were in Palanga some years ago, one day we decided to get inside. And I've seen hot chocolate in the meniu. It was really YUMMY! I highly recommend for you to try real hot chocolate there. And when we were in Palanga after 5 years, we visited this bar again many times and the taste of that hot chocolate was still the same. Oh, almost nostalgia...:-)
Of course they have many other delicious meals, like salads, fish, meat dishes or some traditional Lithuanian dishes, etc.

You'll find lots of different restaurants, pubs, cafes in the center of Palanga, also on your way to the sea. Don't expect a good quality on these small pubs you'll find very close to the sea. And they will be even more expensive than at the center.

Main J. Basanavicius street is full of cafes and entertainment. You can choose any place you like there or in any other place in Palanga. I have 2 tips when searching for a new place: the louder the music the worse is the food and out of the center prices become lower. But generally food is good almost anywhere.

It's on Zveju street. comming from the center at the end of it. looks like a shop. It's not on the main street, but it's a complete local place with cheap and real traditional food. like long pancakes with real curd inside, real big portions of Saltibarksciai (traditional cold soup). Great omlets and everything what I call real food (that is the one I eat). Just not sure about meet dishes, coffee isn't good, but tea wonderful. So, any pancakes, omlets, soups - recomended.
Very cheap (soup ~ 1 euro)

Nothing too special, but not a bad place.
Favorite Dish: good saltibarksciai (traditional cold soup). but I'd say quite a small portion for such a price. Great baked bread sticks with cheese. Good coffee with small piece of chocolate gratis ;)

It's my favourite day/afternoon place in Palanga. Very good food, wonderful pizzas, good service, nice surroundings, cozy seats and great coffee. No matter wheter it rains, wether the sun is shining you can always comfortably sit outside.
Family friendly, kids will get a lot of stuff there (baloons, caps, etc.). There are non -smoking sections too. What I also love that on those plainted chairs you always have a pillows under your butt :)
Favorite Dish: italian and lithuanian cuisine. really great and fulfiling pizzas, traditional lithuanian food is also great as well as coffee.
