Although municipality of Palanga is not large, it is quite long and thus there are 3 bus routes inside it. First two are travelling through city from south to north and back, while the third rides from Palanga to the airport and ventoji - other resort town. First two routes are operated by small mini-buses, mostly used Mercedes Benz ones. The route to ventoji is operated by Neoplan buses. All routes are operated by VlaSava company. Costs are 3 Litas in summer and 2 Litas other times for Palanga-ventoji bus, and 1 Litas always for inside Palanga buses. All buses appears in various colours. Leave a Comment Theme: Bus

Palanga International airport serves two resort towns of Palanga and Šventoji and also port city of Klaipėda (third largest city in Lithuania). It is second largest airport by the numbers of passengers in Lithuania. This airport is more active in summer because of the fact it is in resort town. In winter destinations are the same as from Kaunas Karmėlava International Airport, but in summer there are more.
Winter destinations are Hamburg, Oslo, Billund, Malmo, Kistianstad, Ronneby, Stockholm, Copenhagen. In summer there are also routes to Berlin, Frankfurt, Moscow, Goeteborg. Most of routes operated by Air Lithuania.
Airport is very small, it has no jetways or busses and only one duty free shop. Leave a Comment

Palanga can be reached by frequent minibus from Klaipeda or Express and other buses from other Lithuanian towns. There are also direct connetions into some surrounding countries.
