Sundial square with the main focus object gilded bronze sculpture -archer,known as gilded boy, which symbolize three main things for the city. Sun-to remember the sun battle near to Siauliai in the year 1236,Archer-the city is named after the archer(Archer in Lithuanian - Saulys) and the time which passed after the name of the city was mentioned in the sourcebook after the battle in 22-nd of September 1236.
The church was built in 1909 with money alloted by the authorities of Tsarist Russia.At first, it served as the church of the Russian Army; when the Russian retreated, the Germans turned it into a warehouse. 1999 the church was consecrated and given the title of St. George the Martyr.
Built in 1908s as the weathercock on the roof testifies,its belonged to Jewish industrialist Chaim Frenkel. After the falling into hands of the Soviets -after 1940-the villa was used as military hospital.Now,after great renovation work its again open to public as a unique example of modern architecture and interior. In 2001 the villa is included into Lithuanian cultural valuables register.
