I saw a few yachts sailing on lakes in Trakai and even more "parked" along shores of Galve Lake. Do you want to hire one? Follow the link below for more. Or go to look at them on the banl of Galve Lake, maybe 200 m north of the wooden bridge to the castle island.

I haven't experienced this active leisure in Trakai yet. But who knows what will be in the future...;-) So, if you have enough time while visiting Trakai Castle, rent one of the yachts near it for a half an hour or longer (depends on your needs). And I'm sure you'll have a great time with wonderful views for your eyes when sailing around the castle.

Address: Near the entrance to the castle
This shooting range with two shooting targets, on my picture, was located in the Trakai castle. Turn right just before entering a yard of the Palace through a drawbridge. Each shot both with a bow and with a crossbow costed 1.00 Lt. Well, shooting with a crossbow seemed to be more difficult.
Equipment: A few kinds of bows and crossbows to choose.

Have you ever used a bow or a crossbow? Well, you can choose and try it in the Trakai castle - turn right just before entering a yard of the Palace through a drawbridge. Hmm... it was not so simple :-) but with some help of a local instructor...

When I left a yard of the Palace (main residential part of the Trakai insular castle), I turned left to walk around and found this small shooting range on my picture.
The price-list was in 4 languages: Lithuanian, Polish, Russian and English (with mistakes :-). Five shots with an airgun (no prizes, just fun) costed 1 Lt. Alternatively one could shoot with a slingshot and win small prizes but it costed 5 Lt per 10 shots.
Equipment: Airguns and slingshots to choose.

Sailing the boat on Galves lake can be great in sunny bright day. Along the banks of Galve lake much local people offer to rent boat for a one-few hours.
An hour can cost 5-10 litas.
