These three odd-looking black-robed figures leaning out onto Gedimino Prospektas from the Lithuanian National Drama Theater are the Three Muses. While they look like characters out of some futuristic science-fiction movie, these characters actually are supposed to represent drama, comedy, and tragedy. The theater itself can be worth a visit if you wish to see a play, though obviously one would expect the majority of productions will be in Lithuanian.
I walked the main shopping street Gediminio prospectas from one end to another - 1,75 km ? and took some photos. As it was a lovely sunny day I was not tempted to go to the shops. Even on rainy or cold days I am not very interested in shopping. :) National Drama Theatre is also on Gedimino Prospectas and three muses are having a feast 24 hours a day above its entrance!
Lithuanian National Drama Theatre is located at Gedimino Ave. It was established in 1940 and is the biggest theatres in Lithuania.

Although I didn't go and see the play (my Lithuanian is too poor for that), these three ladies made it memorable for me.
