Wiltz is a really quiet city.
Not many people I saw walking on the street.
I took this picture when Wiltz was preparing for the night...
It almost seemed like we were the only ones outside!
Fondest memory: Ehi told me that up the hill there is a statue of Our Lady and it is lightened up during the night.
You can walk to there.
I hope he shows me the way up next time!
In the 16th century a late Gothic church with naves of equal height with Romanesque features was erected on the site of an old fortification. The beautiful cast-iron screen, which once served as the entrance door, is now on display in the interior of the church.
On the photograph you see the holy virgin Maria looking over Wiltz at the outside of the church.
Favorite thing: Memorial stone. Written on it: Memorialto the 28th U.S. Infantry Division which liberated WILTZ on September 10th 1944 and galliantly defended our soil during the - Battle of the Bulge -
Favorite thing: Just a sign I saw on one of the shops.
Favorite thing: A lovely door, quite old too, if I can believe what s encarved in the stone above it.
