Not so much a must see today, but everything began with this firm. ARBED. They produce steel, and sell it into the whole world. The last 'D' in ARBED stands for Dudelange. The town is in fact a town build by steel workers, and even if there is not much left of this firm, still there are some engins working in Dudelange.
If you come to this town, you have to see the church. It is a beautiful neo-gothic building, from 1894. A local artist did the paintings of the way of the cross and the whole building was restored in the 90'. The church is rather big and has place for 2190 people.
Very special is, that the church is as long as high, exactly 63,5meters.
We have a big and beautiful sportscomplex here, with a big basketball and handball-hall, and an half-olympic swimming pool.
In summer there is an open swimming pool, with half-olympic dimensions.
