Luxembourg along the Moselle, castles and wine
by Pavlik_NL
Grevenmacher, wine, wine and some champagne. On the westbank of the Moselle-river are the wineyards of Luxembourg. And Grevenmacher is one of the centres of making this tasty fluid. As a winelover I enjoy this place every time and visit time by time another winehouse/yard. Moselwine is fruity, light and tastes sweeter then many French wines. On the other side of the river is Germany (also famous for it's Moselwines). Close to the famous Champagne-region in France, the Luxembourgian champagne is also perfect for celebrations and special events. Grevenmacher has - among others - the wineyards of Bernard Massard, that produces a lovely champagne. They also have excursions in which they explane the millenia old wine-making-traditions.
Drinking a bottle of wine on a pleasant evening on the camping with some new friends.
