Luxembourg by dr.firas Very special and beautiful Church, Saint Alphonse is not gothic like the Joannes Origer one, but it is very beautiful too, and the inside is also impressive! I thought I was moving every time from a Sunday religious speach to another, by visiting churches hee hee! Leave a Comment

Dr.Firas in Luxembourg by dr.firas A simple day it was.... everything was just great as it should be: blue sky, sunshine, flowers all around, and birds singing in a wonderful long waited spring! you want to close your eyes in this calm and free your mind, but the beauty views are stronger than just to let you even lose a blink... A poem is created by itself in this environment; pure inspiration is so natural... yes it could be heaven... but one basic condition was missed... you were not here by my side my love! I know inspite of all this, the day could never be perfect without you, thus how the world is... but I'm thinking of you... and you are my perfection! By Dr.Firas 25-April-2004 Leave a Comment

Luxembourg by dr.firas It was the modern church of Kierchebuet, it is so ordinary, nothing special indeed on it, but I liked the knight Centur! he looks so cool! don't you think! by the way it is the most usual church, I don't count it even as a must see activity. Leave a Comment

Diorama, National Museum of Military History by Paul2001 This museum does not seem to receive many visitors except for tourist with a keen interest in military history, in particular World War Two. Located in the small but quaint town Diekirch, this museum deals almost exclusively with the Battle of the Bulge which was fought right here in Northern Luxembourg. The museum has a superb collection of vehicles and armoury from the Battle. However why it wins such acclaim is for the excellent lifesize dioramas depicting the fighting and lifestyle that the soldiers on both sides had to endure. The dioramas and displays are very objective in there analysis of the Battle of the Bulge. Both the German and American sides of the battle are equally emphasised. I was surprised by the scope and size of this museum and spent over two hours in going from gallery to gallery, so obsorbed was I by it. Leave a Comment

Beaufort Castle by sim1 You can visit the castle from April until the end of October, from 9 until 6 o'clock. For more information on the castle and the village of Beaufort, you can take a look at this website : Beaufort. You have to be able to read German though, because that is the only language this website is in :-) Leave a Comment
