Inside Kierchebuet

by dr.firas

Inside Kierchebuet is as you see here, no gothic gorgeous stuffs, but still an unresistable will to discover any way, I should say inspite that Luxembourg city is the capital of Luxembourg, but belive me in 5 hours you will see all the main things!I satyed 12 hours!had time to have a sleep on the nature in the park too!

Look to the statue

by dr.firas

It was the modern church of Kierchebuet,it is so ordinary, nothing special indeed on it, but I liked the knight Centur!he looks so cool!don't you think!by the way it is the most usual church, I don't count it even as a must see activity.

The picture of the trip

by dr.firas

I dunno, but I liked this picture the most of all I took that day, I think it was a great combination of the nature beautiful calm street and the peacful people walking in the great weather and near those wonderful houses!

St.Alphonse

by dr.firas

Very special and beautiful Church,Saint Alphonse is not gothic like the Joannes Origer one, but it is very beautiful too, and the inside is also impressive!I thought I was moving every time from a Sunday religious speach to another, by visiting churches hee hee!

The style

by dr.firas

Take a look to these wonderful colors of the building, Luxombourg has the style too!no wondering, I saw such a beauty only once in Lyon too, was so happy to relive the moument in Luxembourg, I assure you in reality the colors are much effective than here in the photo!

Tip Photo
The modern side

by dr.firas

It was just a picture to show you the modern side of the city of Luxembourg, if you click to enlarge you will see the 3 high modern buildings in the far!it is normal in such a modern advanced country!

Tulips

by dr.firas

Tulips of wonderful colors were decorating the park in the Domaine de la Fondation J.P.Pescatore square yard!I couldn't resist to take a picture of it and share it as a beautiful thing on my VT page here!

Poem created in Luxembourg

by dr.firas

A simple day it was....everything was just great as it should be:blue sky, sunshine, flowers all around, and birds singing in a wonderful long waited spring!you want to close your eyes in this calm and free your mind, but the beauty views are stronger than just to let you even lose a blink...A poem is created by itself in this environment; pure inspiration is so natural...yes it could be heaven...but one basic condition was missed...you were not here by my side my love!I know inspite of all this, the day could never be perfect without you, thus how the world is...but I'm thinking of you...and you are my perfection!By Dr.Firas 25-April-2004

...right there in their living room, for the whole world to see. Don't you see this man, in his chair by the window on the top floor of this apt building? Enlarge the photo, there he is. He must know he has an audience, don't you think?

reminder of the past

by terps94

Located just outside of luxembourg city is an american and german military cemetary. Both places are well manicured and somber place that reminds us of the sacrifice of the generation before us. I recommend paying respect to our past no matter where we from.. To locate this two places from autobahn A1 take sortie 7 and follow the signs for cemetarie militaire.
