me and Feli enjoying some sushi in a boat by terps94 This one sushi restaurant that I frequented in my 5 yrs. in Germany. It's very small restaurant but the atmosphere is awesome to go along with the grreat food. Ringo is the name of the guy who makes the sushi and he throws in little one liner while he makes your sushi. He became a good friend of mine because I came there so often and we drove an hour from Germany just to eat here so he makes your meal very entertaining. The restaurant is located in one of the smaller shopping pavillion in the city center but if you call his humber he might be able to direct you to the location. The best time to come here is on Mon to Wed bec the rest of the week he get so busy especially during dinner hours. if you mention my name , Edgar, he will definitely not give you a discount. hehehe
hmm tough question i like everything but then again I'm being bias..try the tuna handroll. Leave a Comment Theme: Japanese/SushiPrice: US$21-30 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averagePhone: (352) 22 50 49

This restaurant is located inside the building of "Utopia" cinema, and right beside "Subway". Coyote restaurant has no restrooms but have their customs going to the public ones inside the building. Restaurant is big, crowdy, loudy, little light, and plays mostly mainstream music (tapes) from back of the 80's. I took Vegetable Taccos, and had a hard time to eat at least half of that stuff (never had such unpleasant, mushy tasting taccos). That was def not Mexican style!!! Service is nice, ppl yet speak little English but French & German. It takes a loooooong while until they do the order or take the cash after. The photos I took don't show "Coyote" but at least its neighbouring "Subway" & building of cinema "Utopia" and its public restrooms (very clean!). A look from the library deeper into the cafetteria by leiju, 2 more photos It took more than two years for Diego Lo Piccolo’s idea to fully blossom and turn into the vibrant library - cafeteria it is today. Altrimenti – which means ‘in a different way’ in Italian – opened its doors in the heart of Luxembourg City in June 2006, and Diego is full of bright ideas for the future. The front space is dedicated to Italian literature and books translated into the language, leaving a first time visitor thinking they have just entered a simple library. Yet as one steps deeper, a small lounge-like area opens with pictures on the walls – the area Diego hopes to be able to further develop into a space of culture, calm and easy living. On 29 October an exhibition by painter Biagio Longo will open here, followed by a number of others centered on Italy, Italian painters and views of the country. The last part of the space, transformed from an inner court, is surprisingly light and bright thanks to a tansparent roof. With a variety of toasts, panini, piadine as well as meals mixing fresh cheese and smoked salmon, Diego wishes to only serve light meals with fresh and essential products. He has removed all excess from the dishes, allowing his customers to add oils, vinegar, salt and pepper according to their desires. Beyond simply being an Italian place, Diego expresses his desire to open a space for people who desire to take time to live life on a quieter pace. “Here, it is like in my home, I want people to feel comfortable,” he says. In a world seemingly obsessed with speed, he offers people the ability to take time to relax and step away from their daily worries and enjoy the simple fact of being alive – even if it is for just half an hour. Diego has designed and chosen everything in Altrimenti himself. With hundreds of titles available in Italian and a space to relax and simply take time to live, he certainly has crafted a pure space of relaxation and enjoyment in the middle of Luxembourg. (adapted from an article I wrote for a local magazine)
I haven't had the chance to taste everything yet, and being a vegetarian the list of dishes I may recommend is quite short (like wherever I go) but I'll give you an idea of the meals offered and the ones that I have been told are especially good. Besides for the toasts, paninis and piadines available with the usual kind of 'fillings' (vegetarian *yum*, cheese, ham, etc) that are quite surprisingly good (all ingredients are fresh - delivered in the morning), you'll also find a great number of cold dishes, such as: - Robiola (type of fresh cheese) with herbs and grilled salmon on toast (with salad); - Bresaola, real mozzarella, pink grapefruit (with salad); - Salad with mozzarella, avocado, olives and ricotta. But! Ha! The best part of this place is of course the real Italian coffee, espresso, marocchino, capuccino, latte machiato and other 'derivateives' :P but there again I am only relying on what people have told me since I don't drink coffee... In my educated and informed opinion, this has to be this restaurant has the ruddest staff in Europe. They were absolutely rude, angry and aggressive with me on more than one occasion. I didn’t even eat here and I highly recommend you not eat here either. I tried to gat a table on their empty terrace one night and they looked at me like I was a piece of rubbish. After giving me a dirty look (2 of them together) they told me after a long apuse that all the tables were reserved. I went next door to the absolutely wonderful LA MEDINA and was greeted like royalty. Over the next hour and a half I noticed no one sat at the ‘reserved’ tables. Just look at the first picture. Do you see anyone sitting at any tables? Lying bastards. The next day I went inside the building that houses this restaurant to use the toilets. A waiter CHASED me and shouted at me all the way in. I had to literally shut and lock the door to get away from him. When I came out he absolutelt unleashed a torrent of abuse at me. The though that I might be someone wanting to eat here obviously never occurred to him.
They refused to serve me! Leave a Comment

Breedewee is a restaurant listed in many guide books, websites and is highly recommended. It is also now out of business and shut forever. Sorry. It’s really a shame as well. It had a beautiful view from its terrace of the lower half of the historical part of the city. Breedewee had a reputation for serving delicious food at good prices while still maintaining large portions. In Luxembourg that is a crime of course. You will now have to settle for less food and less money after your meal. Leave a Comment Theme: FrenchAddress: WAS ON RUE LARGEPhone: CLOSEDWebsite: CLOSED Other Contact: CLOSED
