Chi Chi's: Ugh..So So...................

by Eurtravfam

If you have been on the road for awhile and you want some "back-home" eats this is the place. If you are not from the states this is a close replica of an american stlye mexician food chain. -On the main plaza behind the city tour bus stops, across from McDonalds and the city tourist center. Clean bathrooms and dining rooms. I walked in the kitchen and was almost dragged out.....bottom line clean! The chicken enchiladas and chicken nachos. No coke on Pepsi, pepsi, pepsi. A Corona runs about $5.50 a bottle. Modest dinner for two with one beer, one Pepsi, one appetizer and 2 main courses equaled about $48.75The hot peppers are HOT!!

Chiggeri: Chiggeri

by MBDVB

Chiggeri is in an old, converted residence, and has three floors with the first being a trendy club/bar, and the third floor being the dining rooms. The staircase is an all wooden tight spiral from the original home... quite fantastic! Get something from the day's specials... I was very impressed with the entire menu!

Parc belle vue: Not only a restaurant

by dr.firas

It is not only a restaurant, it is also a hotel and a park, there you can do some sport too as well, the price is high to spend a night, but the food is good and when you'll pay the bill you'll feel good as the prices are ok!

BODEGA Brasserie-Restaurant: It's Spanish, it's Portuguese, it's de-lic-ious!

by morgane1692

Simple and unassuming in decor and outdoor signage, you might easily walk right past this one. But don't make that mistake. After a crazy day at work, then a rainy drive through some pretty manic traffic congestion, you sooo deserve this. Really, you do. ;-P Can you say BACALHAU?! I could've done without the fishbones in every bite, but this Portuguese delicasy is worth the trouble. Besides, the Spanish red wine makes you care less and less about those annoying bones. ;-) And then, those two very magical words: CREME CATALAN!!! Oh yessssss...

Coyote Cafe: drink the tower

by terps94

this restaurant is located in the UTOPOLIS mall which also house a great movie theater in Luxembourg city. They place is decorated with movie memorabilia to include the alien in "PREDATOR". The menu range from mexican food to diff . burgers but one thing you have to order is the "TOWER" . It's 3 (?) ft tall fiberglass filed with the local pils "BOFFERDING" so basically you get your own beer tap overflowing with great tasting pils. If you get tired of the eating and drinking you can always go to the movies. i warn you the movie seats are very comfy so if the movie is boring you bound to fall asleep in the theater, hehehe. gotta try the chicken wings

Neo's: in the mood for some raw fish (sushi)

by terps94

This one sushi restaurant that I frequented in my 5 yrs. in Germany. It's very small restaurant but the atmosphere is awesome to go along with the grreat food. Ringo is the name of the guy who makes the sushi and he throws in little one liner while he makes your sushi. He became a good friend of mine because I came there so often and we drove an hour from Germany just to eat here so he makes your meal very entertaining. The restaurant is located in one of the smaller shopping pavillion in the city center but if you call his humber he might be able to direct you to the location. The best time to come here is on Mon to Wed bec the rest of the week he get so busy especially during dinner hours. if you mention my name , Edgar, he will definitely not give you a discount. hehehe hmm tough question i like everything but then again I'm being bias..try the tuna handroll.

hotel Belvédère: great dinners

by tompt

The restaurant of hotel Belvédère serves great food. From the restaurant you have a nice view of the castle. At night the castle is illuminated. Let the chef decide. We had a delicious 5 course diner for €45 per person. (extra: wine ± €4,50 or beer €2)Our diner included: a deepfried package with kidney; mushroom bouillon; froglegs; lobster; chocolatcreme.

Mousel Brauerei: Yummie foof

by PatLam

You'll eat typical luxembourgish food, along with our beer, named MOUSEL (although I personnaly think the BOFFERDING beer tastes better)..The restaurant is located in an older part of the city of Luxembourg and you'll find two pubs quite close to the restaurant Judd matt GaardenbounenSalted meat with white beans, it's rustical but delicious

The best from each culture.

by EricLe_Rouge

Luxembourg cooking has been influenced by the cuisine of nearby France and Germany for many years. More recently, it has been inspired by the cuisine of its many Italian and Portuguese immigrants. Luxembourgers usually adopt the best from each culture. When a typical Luxembourg family sits down to its daily meal, the fare normally consists of simple, hearty foods; but when celebrating a special occasion or when entertaining guests, they will serve the finest French cuisine accompanied by excellent local wines.Be careful! If you are invited to dinner at a Luxembourg home, wear clothing that is two sizes too large. You will be served so much excellent food and drink that you will soon begin to feel like a fat goose being force fed to make fois gras.

Peking Garden Chinese...

by vividvivian

Peking Garden Chinese Restaurantthe door does not make you think it would be a very good or special restaurant, but inside... 1)i found some people speak cantonese, really made me feel like home:)2)indoor tradition chinese decoration, you might think it is just a small chinese food stall, once you enter, you will see what's inside - bats on the ceiling (means good fortune), dragon, lion...dun forget to try to use a pair of chopstick (of course, if you dun mind!) that would be a nice / interesting experience .hehe sour and spicy soup, fried fillet, mushroom with vegetable... and more!
